She didn’t even once glance over at Davey. The bus arrived and they got on. Onyx and Helena sat together and Davey sat by himself. Onyx, you can’t keep this up forever. Helena thought to Onyx. Sure I can. It’s already working. I don’t want him anywhere near me. Helena shrugged. Whatever Onyx, but what if he’s telling the truth and you really are a royal? Onyx scoffed. You’re a vampire too.” She lay back down and Davey sat in her desk chair and moved it closer to her bed. She flipped over to the other side of the bed to avoid looking at him.
